Suhani Sureka
Investment and Strategy Head, Adhunik Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd.

Moving straight from my school to my undergraduate degree in Economics Honours from St. Xaviers, Kolkata to my Masters in Management from London Business School, I had earned a substantial amount of theoretical knowledge about managing or leading a company. But I felt I could learn more about the practicalities of the same, in a concentrated family business setting. This so, because, it has always been my aim to work and manage my family business working in the infrastructure sector. This course offered by IIM Kolkata, one of the most esteemed institutions in country, came to my attention and it made the perfect piece to my puzzle. The course offered me the case studies, the group discussions and the most distinguished faculty to educate me about performing in a family business environment. I had already started working in my business before joining the course, but after completing it I have been more hands on with my approach as a probable future managing head. I have started understanding people and their behaviour and approaches a lot better and am able to cater my reactions to the same. I would recommend this course to everyone who is looking for an interactive way to flourish in their company and want to experience learning with amazing teachers specially Professors Manju Jaiswal and Chetan Joshi.
